Light Rail:
The Dart Light Rail is one block up Belleview
at the Cedars Station. This rail takes you around
Dallas and as far up as Richardson, with connections
to Fort Worth and Grand Prairie. See Map. |

Office:
Juanita Craft Post Office located at 3055 Grand
Ave.
There is a 24-hour Main Post Office located at
I-30 West and the Sylvan Ave. exit. It is less
than 5 minutes away on I-30 West. |
Restaurants
The West End: Take Lamar through downtown
to the edge of downtown - many restaurants are
located in this area.
Lower Greenville: Lined with restaurants
and pubs. 75 North, exit Mockingbird, turn right
on Mockingbird, turn right on Greenville.
Deep Ellum: Bars and restaurants. Left
on Lamar, right on Commerce, pass 75 to approximately
2600 block. |
Library
J. Erik Jonsson Central Library, 1515 Young Street.
Left on Lamar, right on Cadiz, left on Ervay and
proceed past Library turn left on Jackson and
then left on Browder (or proceed one block to
Akard St. if Browder is closed). Turn left on
Wood, immediately getting into the right lane.
The downtown Central Library is located at the
corner of Young and Ervay street, across the street
from City Hall. The entrance to the underground
parking garage is located on the Wood Street side
of the building. Wood Street runs one-way going
east. To enter the parking garage, use the first
ramp; the second ramp is an exit and the third
ramp is the loading dock. Turn right into the
underground parking garage of the library. |
Grocery
Stores
Kroger: Take 75 North, exit Mockingbird.
Turn right on Mockingbird, just a couple of blocks
away on the left. Sams Warehouse: For food
in bulk, but you will have to buy membership.
75 North, exit Park Lane, turn right, up a few
blocks on right side (as you cross over Greenville
Ave.)
Farmers Market: There is a Farmer's Market
just around the corner - a nice place to get fresh
veggies and fruit depending on season. It is a
series of pavilions with food vendors, a few furniture
and plant vendors and a Mexican food restaurant.
Take Lamar (towards downtown) to Cadiz, Turn right
on Cadiz, Cadiz will take you straight to the
market.
Whole Foods: Take 35 North to the Tollway
North, exit Lemmon (75 cent toll each way)
Fiesta: 611 West Jefferson. Turn right
on Lamar, right on Corinth over viaduct bridge.
Turn right on 8th Street, turn left on E. Jefferson. |
Movie
Theaters:
Bijou: 2702 Main Street
Loews Cineplex Cityplace: 2600 Haskell
Avenue, can also be accessed by taking the rail
to the City Place station.
Angelika: 5321 East Mockingbird Lane can
also be accessed by taking the rail to the Mockingbird

Mockingbird Station: 75 North, exit Mockingbird.
Stay on exit road. Will be just north of Mockingbird
on right hand corner. Can also be accessed by
taking the rail to the Mockingbird Station. Also
has restaurants. (a Kroger within walking distance). |
